MetaProducts Inquiry makes Internet research a snap! Collect, organize and view information from the Web on your terms, quickly and easily. A Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003 application, it is fully integrated with Microsoft Internet Explorer and is also available as a standalone application. Inquiry stores various Web files: entire web pages, selected text and images, Shockwave Flash clips and many others. It can also import documents from your MSIE Favorites and export them to various formats to share with friends and colleagues. Forget cumbersome open and close dialog boxes. Managing your stored pages is quick and easy. You access Inquiry simply by clicking a button on the MS Internet Explorer toolbar or Inquiry Sidebar. A single click saves the page you are currently browsing, or your selected text or images. Inquiry stores pages much faster than the regular Internet Explorer Save As feature. Inquiry is sophisticated enough to meet the needs of professional researchers, yet simple enough for novice users. Researchers, lawyers, writers, scholars, professors, students or just the casual shopper will all find Inquiry just the tool they need to collect, store and manage any type of Internet information.

Inquiry stores screenshots of each stored page to help you preview the pages on a single screen or when you hover your mouse over them.
There is a standalone Inquiry application included in case you prefer a browser other than MS Internet Explorer.
* Enhance your browser
Most modern browsers keep all pages you view in their cache. This makes browsing faster and you can sometimes view Web pages offline.
However the default browser cache is limited and inconvenient:
You cannot tell the browser which pages to keep and which to discard. The disk space you allow for the cache is not used optimally.
You cannot "freeze" certain pages and when the cache is out of disk space, many pages will be erased automatically.
If you view some pages frequently, the previous page copy will be overwritten by the new one. So if the page contained valuable information in the past, it will be lost.
You cannot organize your cache by folders, use full-text search, highlight found words, etc.
Inquiry gives you an easy workaround for all the above issues.
* File | Save as
MetaProducts Inquiry goes farther than the standard HTML and MHT formats if you want to save a page to disk or share it with a friend. You can save a single page or a set of pages to a variety of file formats. You can backup and restore the saved pages to prevent information loss in case of a system crash or virus.
* Edit pages
A Web browser can be used only to display Web pages. Even if a page is being saved in the browser cache, there is no way to edit it, remove banners or add your comments. Inquiry has a fully-featured visual Web page editor that allows you to change the look and contents of the saved pages according to your needs.
* Organize your work
Using a familiar Folder Tree, you can create and organize your folders using simple Windows Explorer-type menu commands, and then move your saved pages from one folder to another using drag-and-drop.
* Auto-Save
Save entire Web sites using Inquiry’s Auto-Save feature. Once AutoSave is enabled, every page you browse will be automatically saved in a special folder called “AutoSave” for later viewing or offline browsing.
* Information Exchange
You can share the information stored in Inquiry with others.
Export a page or a whole folder to HTML Help (CHM), MHT, Compressed EXE viewer or a collection of HTML pages.
Create backup files to keep reserved copies or to transfer information to another computer.
Extract all images from saved pages to a folder.
Send a page by E-mail or transfer it to MS Word.
