Do you need to use georeferenced raster maps in your AutoCAD projects? Using AutoCAD you can insert raster images, but even if you have world files to place them in the correct coordinates, AutoCAD won't use this information.
This tool is the solution! You can automatically insert images with world information in the right place and even export world files from inserted images. A world file is a file with the same name as the image and with a similar extension, like .tfw for tiff or .bpw for bitmaps, containing info about placing, rotating and X-Y scaling of the image. Usually raster maps come with this file attached. Place it in the same folder as the raster file and magically Raster Manager let you place it correctly in your drawing. It's free and open source (you can modify the program and give it to others free of charge)!
